Ella is an architectural technician, theatre director, and general creative busybody, and a recent theatre studies graduate. Inspired by her passion for theatre, history and food, Ella is ended up writing her masters thesis on the theatrics of dining throughout history. The London Vintage Kitchen was formed as a platform to make her research become reality, and so the joys of historical eating and entertaining could be shared with the world.

All of the research that goes into putting on an LVK event can be found, along with other interesting reads, on her blog The Lost Art of Eating

Oliver is a Graduate of the War Studies departments of King’s College London and the University of Wolverhampton in the West Midlands. While his primary interests lie in the History of Piracy and Maritime Terrorism, Oliver does entertain a number of other hobbies, including an obsessive book collecting habit, challenging other peoples’ Political views and Light Opera, through which he met his significant other.

Oliver has enjoyed running a few vintage events over the years, and is extremely excited to be involved with this, the London Vintage Kitchen and will be organising the logistics and Marketing side of the events.

LVK brings you a series of pop up events, each one focusing on a particular time or occasion from the past, bringing history back to life for you to enjoy. Part immersive theatre, part dinner party, LVK is as much an experiment in perceptions of time, space and reality as it is a place to eat, drink, dance and play silly games.

Dress up for the occasion and leave the modern world behind for a few hours, you never know, you might like it!
